Moving To London & Smoking Magic Part 2
I shouldn't have spoken so soon.
Yes, I've performed at a Fringe Festival.
Yes, I've had Top Surgery.
Yes, I'm getting nearer to publishing my second book.
But no, I am nowhere closer to moving to London, nor am I nearer to moving at all.
Everything is all pretty stuck in place.
Yes, I still believe in Smoke Magic, I really do. But I could do with one big push from the Universe as of right now. I'm hoping that if I put it out into the Universe (this Blog), I could potentially bring it alive (it's alive! It's alive!).
I recently applied for a dream job that couldn't have come at a better time for me, in all retrospect.
It's a Writing Job for a Radio Station and they're specifically looking for people who are disabled/neurodiverse and have very specific skills, which I have. It's like someone said "Here's a job made just for you, yes, you especially. Do you want it?" and it kinda feels like it's been presented to me like a Monkey Paw...
But I'm hoping it's not a Monkey Paw... perhaps a... I don't know? What animals are lucky? A Hare's Foot? Maybe?
Well whatever mammal's leg shaped opportunity this is... I hope it can get me out of this.
The money isn't Moving To London Money, but it's certainly Paying The Rent Money.
I have touched all the wood (honk) and crossed all my toes, fingers and tentacles for it.
